If you are a nervous patient, sedation enables you to receive your dental treatment with a relaxed feeling, while you still remain in control.

We offer sedation with all of our procedures to make your visit as stress-free as possible.

What is IV sedation?

An IV sedation is an injection into your veins. It relives your anxiety by making you feel relaxed while you’re awake and enables you to follow your dentist’s instructions.

 

Do I need an escort to take me home after a sedated treatment?

Yes. Most of the patients who have sedation for their treatment have no recollection of the procedure afterwards. Because of the drowsiness, you must not drive or operate any machinery until the day after your intravenous sedation.

You should take somebody with you to your visit to take you home safely after the treatment.

Please note, you should not go to work and avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after your appointment.
