Patients are requested to provide the practice with at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel any appointment. Cancellations can be made by telephone or via email; you can also use our cancellation request box on this page. Please include your full name and the appointment details of which you wish to cancel or reschedule.
If you need to contact us to cancel an appointment outside of business hours, as long as the notification is no less than 24 hours from the appointment, there will be no penalty.

You can notify us the usual way by sending an email or by calling us and leaving a voicemail message with your name, number and appointment details of which you wish to reschedule.
Should you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours or fail to attend (FTA) an appointment (with no notification given), this will be marked on your patient record. If this happens 2 or more times, the practice reserves the right not to see you again.
If you miss a private appointment or cancel at short notice (less than 24 hours’ notice), you will lose the deposit which was paid on booking to recover part of the cost of lost surgery time. To arrange another appointment a new deposit will be taken.
If two consecutive or more appointments are cancelled on short notice and/ or missed without any notice, the practice reserves the right to not see you again on the NHS. Should the practice decide to see you again, any future visits will only be offered on a private basis.
